Equal Approach has established an Inclusion Champions Network to support the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion both internally and externally, which will further embed D&I within all of our activities.
The Inclusion Champions Network provides our team members with an opportunity to become a champion or ally, and to share information, take part in online discussions and to find out latest updates regarding different protected characteristics, in order to further enhance their D&I learning and understanding.
Within the Equal Approach Inclusion Champions network there are several individual subgroups, including:
- Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME)
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender + (LGBT)
- Disability and Mental Health (DMH)
Equal Approach has recently delivered Inclusion Champions training for a number of organisations including: Action for Children, Carmichael UK, and Victim Support.
"Equal Approach delivered a training session to Action for Children’s Inclusion Champions. The purpose of the training was to upskill Champions to confidently undertake their Champion role with a broader understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion. The training was very successful with excellent feedback from all attendees. Following the training, the Inclusion Champions felt motivated to share their learning with colleagues and raise awareness of the benefits of inclusive practice in improving outcomes for children, young people and families."
