DWF is an award-winning legal business with a strong reputation for excellent client service and effective operational management. There are now over 2,650 people in the DWF Group, based in 22 key commercial centres in the UK and internationally. We have core strengths in corporate & banking, insurance and litigation, and in-depth industry expertise in several chosen sectors including energy & industrials; financial services; public sector; real estate; retail, food & hospitality; technology; and transport.
As part of our client-led international expansion we opened our first office in France in January 2017 through a merger with Paris-based firm Heenan Paris, which followed a merger with Belfast-based commercial law firm C & H Jefferson in December 2016. We acquired Triton Global in January 2017 as part of a move towards deepening our global insurance practice and expanding our international reach into key insurance markets in London, Sydney, Toronto and Chicago.

That’s why we set up The DWF Academy – a learning and development initiative designed to enhance and support the career and personal development of our people. Launched in 2014, the academy provides a framework for learning and development for everyone within DWF.

The DWF Foundation
In December 2015, we launched our own charitable foundation with the sole aim of providing funds, resources and support to help our communities to achieve their full potential. The DWF Foundation has so far distributed £12,000 to local charities and raised over £49,000. £131,630.00 to 50 charities. The launch marked a significant step in our journey to develop a culture of contribution. It demonstrates that when we all work together we can make a significant, positive impact on our communities.
